17 August 2020 Pastor Rick: Changes to Services at Autumn Ridge
by Pastor Rick Henderson
I want to let you know about some important changes being made at Autumn Ridge Church. The first announcement only impacts those who attend in-person services.
No In-Person Services on September 6, 2020
There will not be any in-person services on September 6, 2020. We will still stream our services online at the normal times. The staff and volunteers have been working hard to provide great experiences online and in person. Our online services are not streamed live. Many hours go into planning, recording, and editing them, so they can be delivered with excellence.
The team has been working double time since we resumed in-person services. The holiday weekend provides an opportunity to give staff and volunteers some much-needed rest. So tune in online that weekend. In-person services will resume the next week.
New Service Times Beginning September 13, 2020
You may have noticed our in-person service times don’t match our streamed service times. Understandably, some people have been confused by that. As we work to bring those in line, we believe this is a good time to position ourselves to eventually launch a third Sunday morning service.
Before COVID-19, Autumn Ridge was on the cusp of needing a third Sunday service. As we progress in this new reality of restricted attendance, we may need a third service to accommodate all who want to attend. We are not ready to launch a third Sunday service just yet. But we do want to be ready.
