Employment at Autumn Ridge

Employment at Autumn Ridge

Autumn Ridge Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and serve people.

And making disciples takes disciples.

Would you be interested in joining the team at Autumn Ridge and work to equip Autumn Ridgers to be disciples where they live, work, and play, and share our hope in Jesus, both locally and globally?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. Below are listings for various open positions. You will also find the contact information for the department that is hiring.

If we don’t have any open positions listed, please feel free to contact us and submit a resume anyhow. We’d love to have it on file so we can reach out should an opportunity present itself.

Special Needs Ministry Coordinator

The centerpiece of the ARC Special Needs Ministry is the Barnabas class for special needs children & youth (K- 12thgrade) that meets on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 worship service. We have an amazing team of dedicated Barnabas Ministry volunteers, but we are interested in hiring a part-time (10-12 hours per week) paid coordinator to lead this ministry team.

Do you have a heart for special needs children? Do you have experience in ministering to their needs? Do you want to give some special children a rich first-hand experience of the love of Jesus Christ? You might be just what we’re looking for! Even if you don’t think you’re the right one, please start praying for God to prompt the person of His choosing to apply for this position.

Elementary Weekend RidgeKIDS Director

And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them(Mark 10:13–16).

Did you catch what this passage tells us about what Jesus desires! #1 – He want us to help children come to Himself. #2 – He explains that children have a natural inbuilt pre-disposition toward the things of God. When someone becomes an adult they have to recover this quality, but for children it comes naturally! #3 – Jesus loves to bless children.

Right now, we are looking for a special person to lead our weekend ministry to elementary age children. Could that be you? If so, then you can be a part of something that Jesus applauds, a ministry that seizes the window of opportunity that is a child’s receptive heart, and that joins Jesus to bless children. How good is that!

The Elementary RidgeKIDS program provides classes for children in kindergarten through 5thgrade during all three services each weekend. We have an excellent team of committed, elementary volunteers, but we are interested in hiring a full-time (30 hours per week) paid director to lead this ministry.
