Children Ministry The Enhanced Emmaus service
on Saturday evening is a great opportunity to reach children but it is also a
significant challenge for Children’s Ministry and we need your
help. In order to offer a full children's program, we will need 50
additional workers and there are opportunities to serve in every area. Areas
especially in need are: Teachers and Helpers for
our “Tweeners” Class (3rd-5th Graders) Team Leaders for the
Nursery, Preschool and Elementary Registration Desk Leaders If

Emmaus Dinner Our purpose: On Saturday
night at ARC we feed people spiritually and physically. The Emmaus Dinner is
a great place to enjoy great food and fellowship with old friends and new
ones. Your role: Help
prepare dinner, serve, clean up and work with a fun team. You may choose to
serve just once a month or really get involved and serve more often. If you are

Grab N Go Our purpose: Provide a
quick on-the-go meal on the upper level for people attending youth events,
classes or small groups. Your role: Be a
member of a fast-paced team following the worship service on Saturday
evening. Serve up meals-to-go along with a friendly smile. You may serve just
one Saturday evening per month or more often if you like. In you are

Entry Door
Greeters Our purpose: Entering
a new place can be intimidating. We are there to offer a warm handshake and
friendly smile, so everyone will feel welcome and know that we’re glad
they came to worship with us. Your role: Welcome
people at your assigned entrance 30 minutes prior to the service until 15
minutes after the service has begun. Greet them with a warm handshake and

Information Link Our purpose: Provide
information and assistance to those new to ARC. You will be a “greeter
with feet” and a friendly smile to our visitors.. Your role: Be
acquainted with the brochure rack and our facility as well as the location of
classes being offered, provide directions and escort people if needed. Saturday 6:40 –7:15 p.m. Sunday 8:30—10:20
a.m. or 10:10—12:00 p.m. If you are

Ushers Our purpose: Our visitors
are very important to us and we want them to feel welcome. We also want our
regular attends to feel welcome every time they attend. Your role: Greet
guests as they enter the church sanctuary, hand out age appropriate bulletins
whether young children, pre-teens or adults. Assist guests in finding a seat,
answer questions that may be asked about ARC. You will also take the
offering. If you are

Newcomer Connection Our Purpose: When visitors
want to find out more about the church and its ministries, we are there for
them. We meet with them in a friendly environment to explain the
ministries that they might be interested in. We have a gift bag which
contains various items to encourage them to make connection with staff,
ministries and people. Your role: If you have a heart for
visitors, you are qualified. You will be given training for your role. You
will be working once a month for 20 minutes either Saturday or

Gift Table Greeters Our Purpose: Our visitors are very
important to us and we want them to feel welcome. ARC offers a book as a gift
for our first time visitors at the end of each service. (The book table is
located at the Newcomer Connection.) Your Role: At the conclusion of
the service you attend, you will greet visitors with a smile, engage them in conversation,
encourage them to fill out both sides of the visitor's card, and let them
choose a book of their choice. If you love greeting people and

Medical Response
Team Our purpose: Close to
2,000 people attend ARC each weekend. That’s the size of a small town!
It is our goal to provide a safe environment for the congregation including
medical first response care. Your role: Provide
basic First Aid care when necessary. This includes being certified in CPR and
operation of an AED portable defibrillator. If you are
