Listen or Watch . . .

. . . as people from the Autumn Ridge Church family share about the struggles, joys, triumphs, and heartaches that God has used to shape their lives as a part of their faith journey.

Be encouraged as we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God...We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
~ Romans 5:2-4

Pastor Dan & Claire Farm

May 28-29, 2011

Pastor Dan and Claire Farm invite you to see God at work in the Broken Dreams of our Christian walk.

In this time of sharing together, we pray that your spiritual perspective on blessing will be challenged, your priorities for life will be altered and your definition of "good" will be enlarged.

Are you walking through a dark valley reminiscent of Psalm 23? Just remember, the psalmist said he "walked THROUGH" that valley. Join us as we explore God's work in our Broken Dreams.

Pastor Mick & Piper Nichols

May 21-22, 2011

Children are a gift from God and it is a parent’s greatest joy to see their children grow in their faith and in their walk with the Lord. One of the greatest challenges parents can face is when their children struggle with chronic illness.  Mick and Piper will discuss the challenges of raising a child with a chronic illness and how this life journey has drawn them closer together as a couple and closer in their walk with the Lord.

Death, in God’s timing, is as much of a miracle as birth. My father taught me that before I even understood what it meant to trust in God as my Lord and Savior. It doesn’t make it any easier to accept, but it focuses me in the right direction to realize who is in control. I will be sharing with you some of the things God has taught me through the death of my husband ten years ago this May.

Pastor Bill Price

Cancer was a life-changing experience that took me from a false sense of being bullet-proof to the depths of physical and spiritual dependence.  I’m looking forward to sharing how the experience affected me, what I learned about myself and the Lord during this past year and how I hope to be healed without getting over the ordeal.

Pastor Billy Sanderson

April 30-May 1, 2011

In Bob Dylan’s song, Tryin’ to get to Heaven, he proclaims, “When you think you’ve lost everything, you find out you can always lose a little more.”

Many people say that character is shaped when someone is in crisis...I would say that true character is revealed in crisis or times of great loss. How do we shape and mold our character ensuring that when the times of loss in life come, we can still smile and say, It is well with my soul? For isn’t our purpose to get to Heaven? Aren’t we all seeking to hear “well done?”

As we reflect on our purpose in life from an eternal perspective, no matter the amount of loss we experience, we know there is always something greater to lose. Let’s discover together how to “consider it pure joy” when we experience great loss in our lives.
