The Mercados work with the Ayore people in Bolivia. Their team consists of two North Americans, two non-Ayore Bolivians and three Ayore couples. The team participates in a variety of different aspects of the ministry. These include outreach to unchurched communities; using medical care and friendship evangelism as their main methods; church strengthening through visits, teaching, conferences, and camps; leadership training and discipleship; and aid with physical and social needs. The team continues to train Ayore health and social workers who help diminish the repeated crisis they used to face in the area of healthcare.
Prayer Requests
Pray for God to strength His church in those villages where there is a group of believers meeting formally.
Pray for the Ayore communities where there is not yet an established church.
Pray that God will raise up more workers with a heart for discipleship and a willingness for long-term commitment.
