Bible translation is progressing quickly in the Philippines. We are experiencing the fruit of decades of hard work as several New Testament translations are dedicated each year among the various people groups all over the islands. Andrew’s role of maintaining the Manila Center/Group House keeps him busy. He enjoys the behind-the-scenes work with the national men in his department as they get the jobs done, thereby enabling translation to take place efficiently. Melissa has been busy in the office filling in for people on furlough and/or vacation. She too appreciates being part of this work as God continues to reveal His plans for the multiple translation projects taking place in the Philippines, as well as those projects that Philippine’s Branch supports here in Asia.
Prayer Requests
Please pray for family life. Pray they would balance home, work, ministry, and spiritual lives.
Pray for partnership development. The Reichenbachers would like to strengthen their team of prayer and financial partners. Pray they would reach their full support again in the coming months.
Pray as they prepare for their furlough in 2008. Pray for their many decisions: where to go, accepting a home assignment or continuing education, and schooling for the children.
