MINISTRY SUMMARY:

We are church planters in the city of Mandaue on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Our ministry consists of making contacts, building relationships, evangelism, leading Bible studies (adult, kids club & youth), DVBS, counselling, training church leaders and preaching in our new church. Much time daily is spent in prayer, planning and preparation. We now have a church started with about 40-60 in attendance. It is still very new and we are training leaders so that we can continue to focus on outreach and evangelism. Our target is the professional from Mandaue City. The reason is that this is one of the least reach groups in the Philippines about the same as the Muslims in Mindanao, and Mandaue has been known as the grave yard of missionaries. Professionals treat Americans as their equal where other Filipinos do not have the same opportunity. Our vision is to have a resource sharing church that will multiply in the towns going north as there are only a few small churches in some of these towns and no churches in others. We praise God as He has opened doors in this city that have previously been closed.
