Marilyn is the Director of Special Ministries in the US Office and Arnold has been working on transferring the Master copies of the African Language New Testaments to DVD for Audio Scripture Ministries. Special Ministries creates and maintains Hope Centers around Kenya. Hope Centers were established following the study of basic needs of the people in, and following, the severe famine in 1984 which caused great poverty and hunger-related diseases among the elderly and very young children. Marilyn works in the Michigan office every day doing administration, keeping in touch with sponsors and donors, answering questions from the field, and helping the volunteer staff with many other tasks.
Prayer Requests
Pray for the many children from the Hope Centers that walk to school each day; the elephants have been a problem and a danger to the children.
Pray that the churches will continue to grow stronger and reach out further to the villages around them with the Gospel.
Pray for the teachers in the Hope Center schools that they will have wisdom and diligence in teaching all the children.
