Summary:

Currently I am serving in the East African country of Tanzania in a small village called Magambua.  I am serving as a missionary nurse to the Sandawe people.  Every morning I go up to the small church affliated medical clinic here in the village and do what I can to help the people that come for care.  In the afternoon I get out and about visiting people in the community attempting to meet their activity of daily living needs and give social support and encouragement.

Five times a month I assist with mobile clinics.  The national medical team and I go out to the surrounding village that have no access to medical care and provide medications to the sick patients, exam and treat all pregnant ladies and give immunizations and free medications to children under five years of age.

Most days are very busy and filled with many unexpected events but I feel BLESSED that God invited me to serve Him in Tanzania!
