Community Groups

Community Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and 10:30am in the Middle School room and are designed for maturing students who want to grow in their faith. On a typical Sunday you will find us exploring the core doctrines of the Christian faith.

Encounter

Check out this high-octane night with awesome teaching, jamming worship, SMASH groups, crazy dramas, competition, and time to hang out with friends.  This program runs throughout the school year (September through May) and is designed to help students CONNECT with each other through small groups, HONOR God though a time of worship, and REACH those who do not know Jesus.

S.M.A.S.H. Groups

Everyone at Encounter gets to be a part of a S.M.A.S.H. group (Students Meeting and Sharing Hearts). S.M.A.S.H. groups are our form of small groups.  These small groups are intended to help students CONNECT with one another and GROW in their faith.  They range from 6-12 students and they are lead by an adult leader who helps students apply God's word to their lives though weekly accountability and prayer support.  Groups are divided by gender and age.

Ministry Teams

We challenge students to DISCOVER and be involved in our Student Ministries using their spiritual gifts.  The many opportunities include: worship team, greeting team, game team, sound team, video team, photography team, prayer team, and more!

Special Events

About once a month, there is an extreme event offered. These include Drop-ins, Mystery Fun Nights, Hands and Feet Service Days, Retreats, and Mission trips.
