This event will be located at the Mayowood Mansion's barn, just down the road from Bamber Valley Elementary School on Mayowood Road. Featuring Bensonwells. The cost is $10 per person.
Student Missions:

HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY
If you are looking for a place to fit in, get connected, fellowship, and grow in your walk with Christ, you've arrived! Our goal at Autumn Ridge Church Student Ministries is to make your faith real to you. Small groups are really just a more intimate way to grow in your walk with Christ and also connect with your peers.
Small Groups are a place where you can connect relationally with others who are on a spiritual journey with Jesus. Many of us are at different places along this journey, but small groups provide a place that is safe to share the challenges of faith, where we can be authentic with one another, where we can offer help to one another, provide spiritual care, and encourage spiritual growth. For the 2009 - 2010 School Year Sessions, we will be in co-ed groups as we jump head first into our focus of the year - EVANGELISM. Each group's discussion is student led by one of your friends. We meet each Monday night beginning Monday, September 21st from 7pm - 8:30pm. If you are not a regular attender and would like to join a small group, send an email to Reggie and you will be contacted with information regarding the group that is best for you.
Small Groups are more than just another Bible study - they are a place to live life together!

This Fall we are jumping out of our 2008-2009 year focus on UNITY and into our 2009-2010 year focus on EVANGELISM!
Throughout this year's Saturday evening and Sunday morning teaching times great emphasis will be placed on what it mean's to share our faith, why we should share our faith, and how to do it.
Over the course of the next year your student will learn various ways in which to initiate a Jesus centered conversation with a stranger or friend and ultimately transition that conversation to a place where it is natural for them to share the gospel.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? Ask your student to share their faith with you on a regular basis. Ask them to share with you the plan of salvation. Ask them to share one of the many tracts with you that they will be exposed to throughout the year. As a family, set up a day where the entire family goes into the streets to share your faith or into a friends home who may not know Christ with the intentionality of sharing the gospel. Whatever the case - encourage your teen to share!
What is EXPERIENCE? The things we encounter, the things we learn are our experience~
Since January 2008 - the focus of this student ministry has been UNITY. Since that time, relationships have been strengthened and spiritual depth has been overwhelmingly seen.
BEGINNING AUGUST 16, 2009 - our new experience, our new direction, our new passion as a student ministry is all about taking the love that God has shown us and pouring it on those around us - our new focus is evangelism.
Over the next year, each student will receive training on how to share their faith and opportunities to do so on a regular basis. Some of the areas of training will revolve around sharing faith through the use of testimonies, tracts, object lessons, use of slight of hand tricks and illusions.
Our experience is the journey we are on as we are obedient to the calling of Christ.
