Work has started on the Surgical Suite at the Compassion Evangelical Hospital in Guinea, West Africa. Money for this suite was raised through our Sharing Hope Campaign earlier in the year.
As you may remember, together as a congregation we pledged that the first $150,000 of the money that came in for the Center at Autumn Ridge would be sent to Guinea to build this desperately needed surgical suite. In addition to the trenches being dug, contracted workers are there and working on making bricks for the entire building. Once this is completed (all bricks are made with mud by hand), then the walls can go up. Watch this space for continued updates on the surgical suite!
