A price list for “alternates”

Members of your Building Implementation Committee (BIC) are meeting weekly with professional partners from Kane & Johnson architects and Knutson Construction.  The team is finalizing the design of the CENTER at Autumn Ridge.

As was done during construction of the initial Salem Road campus, the project will be presented for competitive bidding.  The basic plan (an investment of ~$2.6 million) will involve construction of the full footprint of the facility as a shell, with completion of only part of the interior.  Bid prices will determine how far the available funding can be stretched.

To remain flexible, the project will be bid as a base plan with a series of “alternates,” to be included only if funds allow.  Below is a preliminary list of alternates with examples of estimated prices.  It will be possible to include these alternates only if base bid prices are substantially below estimates, and/or if additional gifts are pledged to the sharing Hope initiative.  Otherwise, these areas will be left partially or completely unfinished for gradual future completion as funds become available.

Some donors may be interested in considering targeted giving toward items in this list.  Interested donors should contact the church office at 288-8880 or use the email address below.
