Upcoming Events

Small Group Information Meetings (continuing through March 12).  Representatives of the sharing Hope initiative are available to visit small groups whenever convenient.  Small group leaders may contact Steve England (507-261-4776, to arrange a short information session during an upcoming small group gathering.

Prayer Emphasis. (weekend of March 6-7).  The congregation prayed for generosity and the impact of sharing Hope on lives here and in Guinea.

Commitment Weekend. (March 13-14). sharing Hope pledge cards will be received at all worship services.  Pledge cards may also be returned to the church office at other times that week.

Celebration Weekend. (March 20-21). The total pledged to the sharing Hope initiative will be announced so that the congregation can celebrate God’s intention for this project as indicated through the generosity of his people.

Welcome to a strategic weekend in the history of Autumn Ridge Church.  Sensing a unique opportunity to forever change Southeast Minnesota and Guinea, West Africa, the congregation will today respond to God with pledges of financial resources.

A sacrificial commitment of resources to the three-year  sharing Hope capital initiative is a profound act of worship.  This represents a commitment above and beyond regular ministry giving.

The sharing Hope capital initiative seeks to fund construction outreach projects on two continents—surgical rooms at the Compassion Evangelical Hospital in Guinea, and the CENTER at Autumn Ridge in Rochester. 

Pledge cards will be received during services this weekend.  The results of congregational pledges will be shared during Celebration Weekend services in one week.  It is time to learn what God will accomplish through the generosity of his people.  In fact, it is time to learn what God will accomplish through my generosity.

Commitment cards will be received with offerings at services this weekend.
 

sharing Hope giving milestones over the next three years:

Leadership Milestone:  $710,000
This milestone has already been reached through pledges from a group of church leaders during the advance phase of the sharing Hope initiative!  Advance pledges continue to come in even this week.

Challenge Milestone:  $4,700,000
This milestone will meet the construction costs for both the Compassion Evangelical Hospital surgical suites and the CENTER at Autumn Ridge.

Stretch Milestone: $5,700,000
This goal will meet the construction costs for both projects and retire a further $1M of existing mortgage debt.
