Thy will be done: Celebration Weekend
After a year of study, months of preparation, and weeks of prayerful consideration, the Autumn Ridge Church congregation surrenders to God this weekend. In a very real way, we now learn God’s will for the next chapter of ministry and outreach through Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester and in Guinea, West Africa.
Truly, what can be more exciting?
Celebration Weekend means learning God’s will for the sharing Hope initiative in an extremely practical way.
It starts with a number.
This number reflects the action of God’s spirit of generosity. Each giver who committed to the three-year sharing Hope initiative is part of the process.
What will God accomplish? How much will be committed? Will the commitments meet the stated challenge milestone of $4.7M, or even the stretch milestone of $5.7M? Some may experience anxiety and uncertainty, but there is no reason for doubt.
God reveals his will in this matter this weekend. We celebrate in response!
sharing Hope giving milestones over the next three years:
Leadership Milestone: $710,000
This milestone has already been reached through pledges from a group of church leaders during the advance phase of the sharing Hope initiative! Advance pledges continue to come in even this week.
Challenge Milestone: $4,700,000
This milestone will meet the construction costs for both the Compassion Evangelical Hospital surgical suites and the CENTER at Autumn Ridge.
Stretch Milestone: $5,700,000
This goal will meet the construction costs for both projects and retire a further $1M of existing mortgage debt.
