Questions for God
most of us would like to ask God a question or two if we had the chance.
They would range from the humorous, “Why did you make mosquitoes?” to the serious, “Why do you allow suffering?” The people in Malachi’s day did have the opportunity to pose their favorite questions to God and in his grace he answered them.
The book of Malachi shows us that God is not silent. There is more of God’s speech in Malachi than any other of the prophetic books. Of its fifty-five verses, forty-seven of them (85%) are the direct words of God.
