CONGREGATIONAL NEWS

We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Norman (Deloris) Huse and Carla Nelson on the death of husband and father, Norman Huse, on May 22.

We extend our sympathy to Nega Dinku (our Snap Shuttle driver) and his family on the death of his daughter Rachel Dinku in Ethiopia.

We extend our sympathy to Melanie Budihas and her family on the death of her son, Seth, on May 20.

Stop in the Common Grounds for Saturday night dinner after the 5:30 service or for breakfast
served from 8:30-11:00am on Sunday. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 5-10, and free for children 4 and younger.

Wednesday Night Clubs

We are currently on Summer Break.

September – May: 6:30 – 8:00pm for PreK-Grade 5. Meet in the Children’s Wing.

DiscipleKids Weekend Classes

Saturdays at 5:30pm:

Classes for infant – K15 Preschool
Sundays at 9:00am and 10:30am:

Classes for infant – 5th Grade
Elementary students are encouraged to attend class for one hour and then attend a worship service with their families during another service.


 

BARNABAS Ministry, Sundays @10:30

Barnabas is a Sunday School for children and teens ages 5-18 who have special needs.  Barnabas exists to glorify God by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word.  The Barnabas class meets every Sunday during the 10:30 service in the Mannika Room.  If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact the Autumn Ridge Children’s Ministry Department.


Trail Life USA

Our regular meetings are the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month (with monthly Hit the Trail! activities at other times). We meet from 6:15 – 7:45 PM in the Upper Room.

Helping Hands

The Children’s Ministries Department invites adults of all ages to minister to the children of Autumn Ridge Church through their Helping Hands Ministry. The purpose of Helping Hands is to assist the Children’s Department in preparing and organizing materials for their programs. Helping Hands normally meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 9:30 am -12:00 pm. If you are able to lend a hand once or twice a month, please contact Elann Wright at 288-8880 ext. 116 or email her at Wright.Elann@AutumnRidgeChurch.org.

Mosaic meets on Sundays in the Lighthouse.

Support our Students’ summer missions trips. Hire a student for personal, household, neighborhood, or business projects.

College-Aged (18-24years)

Sundays at 8:30pm in the Lighthouse

We are young adults between 18 – 24 years old who are striving to help develop each other into devoted disciples of Jesus Christ that love God and serve people

Weekly gatherings will include:
Worship time, thought provoking subjects, debates, small groups, games, community bonding, and growing together in Jesus!

Come and hear Andy Kilen, retired founder and director of Next Chapter Ministries, share with us about his new work with the Center for Indian Missions in northern Minnesota.

Join a group of men, led by Dick Larson, who meet every Wednesday for coffee, donuts, and discussions or presentations on a variety of subjects.

We have just completed our school-year study. Look for information soon about a summer study.

Side-By-Side

Side By Side, a non-denominational women’s bible study meeting at Autumn Ridge Church on Friday mornings, is looking for individuals interested in helping with childcare. Both substitutes and regular childcare workers needed. Hours are 9:10-11:30. This is a paid position. Teens $15, Adults $25 each Friday during the academic school year.
