What is a Podcast?

A podcast is a collection of digital media files which is distributed over the Internet, often using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers. More simply put, a podcast is a great way to regularly distribute our sermon every week.

By subscribing to the Podcast via iTunes or your favorite media player (popular "podcatching" clients other than iTunes include Microsoft's Zune Marketplace, Juice, Doppler, Podget, and Podracer) you are telling that program to occasionally check the website to see if any new content (sermon mp3s) have been uploaded. As soon as the program recognizes the new sermon, it will download it to your computer so that you can play it on your computer or your favorite portable music player!

 

How do I subscribe to the Podcast?

To subscribe to the Autumn Ridge Church Sermon Podcast, there a few methods.

The simplest method, providing you have iTunes installed, is to click here to subscribe to the Podcast!

If you don't have iTunes, or you want to manually subscribe, you will need to open the stream at http://www.autumnridgechurch.org/podcast.xml

iTunes is the most popular media player used for receiving Podcasts. To be taken to the Apple download page, click the icon to the left.
