Where can you serve at ARC?
Ephesians 2:10 “ For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
We are created to do good works that are on a "to do" list that God has already prepared for us. In other words, He has prepared opportunities for us to serve by using the talents and abilities we have to serve Him and the Body of Christ.
Because we are all created to serve, or minister, I want to help you get connected in an area of ministry that will not only help meet the needs of others and help them grow spiritually, but will help you grow spiritually.
We believe that every person who is part of Autumn Ridge Church can find a place to serve that will help them grow spiritually. We want your serving experience to be a great one! By volunteering for one of the unique roles at ARC, you'll make a difference in the life of the church and will be building a healthy spiritual life. Serving God through the local church is so important that it is one of the six values of ARC. "Mission: to find your purpose and serve in the body of Christ." We want to help you find the right place where you can put your interests, passions, and God-given gifts to work. It's easy to get involved, and you'll love the connection that serving together with others brings.
Ways to get involved:
1. Browse the volunteer opportunities (at the left) and contact your ministry of interest through our online volunteer database of roles and openings. It is important to just start serving right away because it will connect you with others.
2. Need help discovering the way that God has gifted you to serve? Attend our S.H.A.P.E. class where you'll get individualized direction according to your spiritual gifts, talents and experiences. The S.H.A.P.E. class is offered 2 times a year. The first class started October 5th and is offered during both services in the Wesley room. Feel free to jump in this week. It's not too late. We'll help match you to an open volunteer opportunity from there. Don't worry-you're free to test drive until you find the right fit.
3. Want to plug in where there's the greatest need? Check out the Ridgelines each week for great in areas where many people are needed each week.
