Rooted to Belong: Connected People Are Transformed People

Growing spiritually doesn’t happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what He says. Application of truth happens best within the context of a Deeply Rooted community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally. Life-change happens best in circles; this is our way of encouraging you become connected in Life Groups. No matter where you are in your faith journey, there is a group that will be a fit for you. During this year of being Rooted to Belong, let’s commit ourselves to this community, so this local church can more effectively share the good news.

Rooted to Invite:
Found People Find People

When we are Deeply Rooted to invite, we invest in the unchurched people in our lives. That doesn’t mean we treat them as projects. It means we genuinely care about them, get to know what’s happening in their lives, and, when the time is right, invite them to take an appropriate next step toward Jesus. Rooted to invite is also wholeheartedly joining the mission of our local church. When we are part of something so much bigger than ourselves, we cannot help but share our excitement. During this year of being Rooted to invite, let’s commit ourselves to sharing widely the hope we find in Christ.

Rooted to Serve:
Saved People Serve People

We believe when people are Deeply Rooted in service, it leads to life change. Whether you serve on a ministry team in our church, in our community, or in the world, God calls us to serve one another. As people choose to serve, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those who see them giving their time to help someone else. Autumn Ridge has developed a helpful tool on our website called the Serving Portal. This will be a great help as you seek your place to serve. During this year of being Rooted to Serve, let’s commit ourselves to making room in our schedules every week to be the hands and feet of Christ in this local church, in our communities, and in the world.

Rooted to be Generous: Grace-Filled People Are Generous People

Generosity is the spiritual step we take when we are Deeply Rooted and understand all we have and all we do are a gift of grace from the Lord. Your financial support and generosity allow us to provide for the physical needs of our congregation, support missions locally and far away, and create the quality worshipful environments you and your family enjoy on a weekly basis. But generosity is so much more than how you choose to spend your money; it is an attitude of gratitude that overflows and blesses those around you even as it blesses you and your family. During this year of being Rooted to be Generous, let’s commit ourselves to prayerfully giving back to God as an act of worship for all He has done for you.
