We love to see children hurrying through the children’s wing full of anticipation to get to their DiscipleKids room!  Every Sunday, our hallway is filled with enthusiastic kids trying to get there “first” and we can’t wait for them to come so we can be a part of discipling them to know God and grow in their relationship with Him.  From the earliest years of babies in the nurseries to pre-teens getting ready to enter middle school, we are passionate about teaching them about God in DiscipleKids.

Our EARLY CHILDHOOD ministry helps lay a foundation of trust for little ones that can carry over for a lifetime of knowing that God is to be trusted.  The loving arms of nursery caregivers welcome babies and make them comfortable while their parents are attending church or an adult class.  Pre-school children can wiggle and giggle in classes designed with activity centers and plenty of time spent hearing BIBLE STORIES, singing MUSIC, along with SNACKS and CRAFTS.

ELEMENTARY children are encouraged to grow in their faith by meeting with their small groups led by adult shepherds who guide them in discussion of their Bible verse and story and other fun activities.  During the course of their DiscipleKids class, they attend a large group worship time with music and prayer all in a kid-friendly format.  Children in kindergarten have their own class designed just for them as they transition from pre-school to elementary school.  

DiscipleKids is available for all children’s age groups infant through 5th grade during both hours on Sunday mornings.  If your child is kindergarten age or older, they only attend one hour as that program is duplicated the second hour.  If parents attend for two hours on a Sunday morning, we encourage their children to learn to worship with them in the worship center.
