Women’s Bible Study provides a place for women to become rooted in God’s Word, build community with other women, and grow in a relationship with Christ. We are currently on break for the summer. Plan now to join us beginning Wednesday, September 12, 2012, as we begin our fall study Little Books, Big Promises: What the Short Books of the Bible Teach Us. WBS MORNING SESSION
Both morning and evening sessions meet in the Autumn Ridge Church Common Grounds Café. Free childcare is also available. The morning children’s program follows the weekly Bible lessons of the women’s teaching schedule. The evening offers nursery care for children under 3, with concurrent evening Kids’ Club for K-5, and AWANA cubbies for 3-4 year olds. For more information contact the church office at (507)288-8880 or email at wbs[at]autumnridgechurch.org. Dear Friends, It’s so easy to skip the little books of the Bible. Why read them? In the New Testament these are often letters written to churches we are not familiar with or to people we don’t know. But they are part of God’s word, and they are full of God’s promises to us. Next fall in Women’s Bible study we’ll study the books of 1-2-3 John, Jude, Philemon, and 2nd Thessalonians…three different authors, six different situations, dozens of God’s promises to uphold us, strengthen us, love us, forgive us and carry us. I hope you’ll join us as we look into Little Books, Big Promises starting September 12, 2012. Visit us again on the website in early August to register for the 2012-13 Women’s Bible Study season. I hope we’ll see you on September 12! Warmly, Gretchen Steer, on behalf of the Women’s Bible Study Leadership Team
