Worship Ministry

Drama Team: Act or work behind the scenes to present short dramas or dramatic musicals.

No set weekly time commitment

Serve in services when drama is planned: group rehearsal and personal preparation; acting experience and/or gifting. 

Willingness to learn and be directed; desire to uniquely convey the gospel; humility of heart to perform for a crowd but keep focus on God and message.

Scripture Reader: Read assigned scripture passage in a manner that brings the passage alive to the congregation. 

Needs in all 3 services 

Arrive 15 minutes before service for last minute instructions and preparation. Some preparation time during the week for preparing the reading. 

Faithful, available and teachable.  Must tryout.

Communion Server:  Serve communion in assigned worship service. 

First Sunday of each month.  Communion served during every Emmaus service.  

Arrive 20 minutes early for the service you are assigned.

Communion Helpers: Prepare, refill or clean-up as part of a team.

First Sunday of each month.  Communion served during every Emmaus service 2-4 Hours. 

Prep trays during the week prior to communion: refill trays between services; clean-up and store trays

Praise Team or Praise Band: Serve a s a member of the praise team or praise band. Leading the congregation in worship

Needs for Celebration and Emmaus services.

Musical ability to blend well with others. Must tryout. 2 hour rehearsal during the and arrive 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hour before service. 

Musically gifted, available,, committed, dependable and able to work as a team. Has stage presence that does not hinder worship.

Orchestra member: Participate in the orchestra which accompanies the congregational singing semi-monthly and the choir for Christmas and Easter concerts. 

Sunday morning on the 3rd and 4 Sundays of the month.

Ability to play an instrument. Arrive early on the 3rd and 4th Sunday at 8:30.  Attend any additional rehearsals.

Choir Member: Participate in the choir that presents an anthem each Sunday morning to assist the congregation in worshipping our Lord. 

Adoration Service (9:00 am Sunday.) 

2 hour choir rehearsal on Wednesday evenings. Arrive 8:30 on Sunday mornings.  

Musically gifted, adaptable, dedicated and teachable.
