Home Improvement

A thriving church family starts at the individual home, hence the focus of this class group, home improvement.  We are a collection of adults, primarily 30s through 40s with younger children, seeking to know God better and improve our homes through bible study, service, and fellowship with each other.  Some of our most recent studies included Phil Yancy’s “The Jesus We Never Knew”, a Marriage Improvement series “Running a Three-Legged Race Across Time”, and bible book studies of 1 Corinthians and Hebrews.
And we often busy ourselves outside of class with community service (meal coverage for new moms, CareFest) and fun fellowship (Bunco Night, holiday parties, family picnics).  We maintain a revolving door policy with our class, and all of any age are always welcome.

Next Study -   January 2008 through March, we will study Jonah, Joel, and Amos (LifeGuide® Series).  These “minor prophets” have major messages for us about how to focus on our number one goal – to Seek the Lord and Live. We will together experience the Old Testament come alive with relevant principles and teaching for our lives today.
