Elann is the Wednesday night Kids’ Club coordinator for children’s ministries at Autumn Ridge Church and has been working on staff since July 2007. She is responsible for ministering to children in kindergarten through fifth grade and their families by providing safe and age appropriate programs which cultivate the knowledge of and love for God. Elann also recruits and trains volunteers to teach and lead small groups of children during the Wednesday night Kids’ Club program.

Prior to working at Autumn Ridge Church, Elann was an elementary teacher for eighteen years in the Osseo School District in Maple Grove, MN. She earned a bachelor of arts in English/Elementary Education from Bethel College and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Hamline University.

Elann’s recent marriage to Alan Wright provided the impetus for her to move back to the Rochester area and Autumn Ridge Church where she grew up. She enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, biking, skiing, decorating and cooking in her free time.
